In a dilemma over the HUBS

Been looking around for some upgrades to my bike, since im doing alot of off-road ride lately over the weekend. To take the punishing of off-road the wheels and hubs have to be able to take the impact.

My friends recommended me a cheap and effective hub its called the Hope Pro 2 Evo.

The hubs from what i heard assist in better pedaling power transfer, much like a differential in a car. But there are numerous brands out in the market some range from RM 400 -RM 1800 for those top of the line Chris King's Hubs.

One thing about the hubs is that they make a clicking sound when its crank on the wheel. By far the Chris King's Hubs sounds the best. But what to do? Its so darn freaking expensive for a set of 2 :(

Here is a video of the hubs sounds comparison:

Dilemma, Dilemma, Dilemma.......

New activity : MTB

Earlier this year i picked up a new recreation activity : Mountain Biking

Its a very interesting activity and it makes you ride and be free, see nature surroundings and go to places that i have never been before.

There are alot of things to learn from bike skills, bike setup, riding positions, etc. Much like what i used to do in RC Racing :P

And just like RC Racing bikes are very tune-able and there are lots of 3rd party options parts for you to improve your bike ride and handling and also to add the "bling" factor. Its not a cheap sport to get into if you are serious into competition. But for me its for the enjoyment of the ride.

Some parts can really help you to enjoy your ride better, things such as a good set of tyres, comfy saddle if you do long rides etc.

Been very active cycling lately because of wanting to get back in shape after putting on alot of weight :(. So far its been good. Have shed some weight till date :) Feel good too!!
